People – Tarik Voirin
Executive Chairman
Tarik began his journey to CEO and Founder of the HomeRun NetAdept group as an engineer from ENSIL-ESCI, one of the most progressive engineering schools in France. After acquiring an MBA at the University of Western Australia along the way, (he now teaches bachelor subjects) he gave in to his urge for more commercial experience and entrepreneurship with a move to Uber Eats in the platform or ‘app’ economy where he helped launch the company in Perth. Seeing the potential in this category, he has now been through his own first start-up in food delivery and has now established HomeRun Burgers and Shakes & NetAdept Group; an entity owning four restaurants and NetAdept, an online fast food delivery solution.
As the architect of a hybrid food & beverage and ‘app economy’ business, Tarik has diversified the food offering into multiple cuisines. “We currently operate four food venues in Perth (half cloud kitchen, half restaurant): HomeRun Burgers in Fremantle & Mt Hawthorn… as well as Asian restaurants Sitan House and Anything La Corner, both in Victoria Park.”
With a further HomeRun location in Vic Park in fit-out stage, and 8 more planned for Western Australia and the east coast, the chain is set to take over the ‘American sports bar’ burger scene. Add to that in 2024, Tarik is opening a food manufacturing plant and the ‘cloud kitchen’ POS ordering piece… so it’s definitely all hands on deck at this ex-engineer’s innovative blend of food and technology.
